The slip stitch isn't something you'll use all the time if you're working in rows, but we will use it a lot once we start the lessons on working in rounds so I thought I would just lump it in with all of the other stitches. After you learn the slip stitch, you will have learned every stitch you need to. There are variations on all of these stitches once you start working with patterns, but as long as you know these basics, you can do anything in crochet.
Finishing your piece is really important, and while we'll go into finishing more at the end, I want to show you how to weave in your ends so you can have a nice, finished swatch.
Congratulations! You've finished your stitch swatch. :) The next couple of lessons are going to look like this: we'll have a review of all the things we have learned so far tomorrow and then on Monday we'll have a pop quiz so get some studying done. ;) I want to make sure you are well versed in everything we've learned so far before we move on.
