So I couldn't wait for leftover sock yarn for the hexagon blanket (there's a pic at the end of this post), so I dyed 7 mini skeins this morning. Yeah I know patience is a virtue and all that stuff, but I wanted to keep working on it, and I didn't have enough yarn to dye a lot today. I snipped a skein into 7 little ones and voila! I mixed up like 10 colors of wilton dyes and got started. I also dyed some gifts of worsted yarn for some people who shall remain nameless in case they decide to read this.

I'm such a goober.
Look my birthday presents came in!
Some girl on the rocks sock stitch markers! They are super tiny and cute :). And Ruby Sapphire Yarn in Okalani. OMG this is some beautiful yarn I am speechless at how colorful it is and it is super soft with a good twist. I'm a happy girl. I am really glad I finally got some of their yarn. I've been drooling over it for awhile.

Tink is trying to keep it. But I know for a fact that she is never cold enough to need an Alpaca hat.
I still can't dye without getting it all over myself and my kitchen. Thank God for Windex (which works better than bleach for some reason).
